Family Camp 2026
July 10-12
Kensington Metropark
Group Campsite
Biindigen!
This will be our first ever family camp, and I’m super excited! This website will be updated regularly with details as things are finalized, so check back often.
Please use the button below to register and agree to our release of any liability. Insurance requires it. If you already filled out a participation agreement for other events, I still ask that you do it again because there are additional questions about food restrictions and camping specifics.
Cost
As of right now, there is no cost to attend camp. We’ve been very fortunate to get enough funding to cover most of the costs, and we’re anticipating more funding to come in. If we need you to chip in for food or canoe rentals and the like, we’ll let you know as early as we can. But it’s our hope to keep this as low cost to families as possible.
Gifts
Each person attending should bring a gift, those intending to play stickball should bring two. It doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy. It could be homemade, or something you grew in your garden. It just needs to come from a good place.
Location: Kensington Metropark Group Camp
The group camp site is accessible to the main park by path (and river) but to drive there you don’t need to go through the main entrance. However, they still require a park pass. There are multiple sites and are first come, first serve, I will be arriving a day early to try and get the best spot possible and will post the exact location at that time.

Ticks are expected to be REALLY bad this year.
I’d rather deal with whatever cancer permethrin and picaridin may give me over a single tick bite. So I will have plenty available. But do your research and take whatever precautions are best for you and your family.
