In the Community

While we supply bikes and gear for the kids to use during our workshops and adventures, occasionally they bring their own bikes. These bikes are generally in need of serious repairs. Many are not even safe to ride. So, in addition to our adventures and workshops, we have created a series of low-cost bike repair events at various schools and parks so the kids can keep riding even when we aren't there with them. 

We teach kids bike safety, how to do basic repairs such as changing a flat, make sure their bikes are safe to ride, and offer new and used bikes for sale or rent to those who need one. And by doing so,  we're helping to remove yet another barrier to the outdoors: the lack of quality bike shops and outdoor recreation stores within the city.

New and Used Bikes for Sale

You can register anytime, up to the day of the event. But if you sign up at least 10 days before the pop-up, it helps us make sure we have all the parts, tools, and volunteers needed to complete repairs. We can’t work on bikes without a completed registration form, so be sure to sign up today!
